Alongside the series of large artworks created by Elysium Gallery artists, Taliesin Arts Centre in association with Goldmark Gallery is delighted to present the opportunity to purchase original prints by Frank Brangwyn.

Brangwyn’s interest in printing processes is reflected in the fact that he was made an Associate and Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1903 and was the first President of the Society of Graphic Art in 1921, a group which exhibited both drawings and prints at the Royal Institute galleries from 1921 to 1940.

Brangwyn was appointed an Official War Artist in World War 1 and this aspect of his work is perhaps best known through his lithographic posters urging men to join the armed forces and encouraging the war effort generally.

Being one of the finest draughtsmen of the day, this collection of lithographs and etchings offered for sale highlights Brangwyn’s expertise in the medium of printmaking.
